Lyla is a very sweet and smart little girl. Last night I went to Katie and Mark's house for dinner (which I often do when Gaga is working), and Lyla was very excited because she was going to Froggy with her Dad after dinner. They share a sweet tooth and love little treats. Froggy, btw, is a yogurt place in Altoona. Last night when I came in she was pretending to be an orange kitten named Sweetie Pie.
She enjoys naming things lately. This afternoon she found a ladybug in the house and named it "Odee Pineapple".
Lyla calls me "Pop Pop" and I have to say I like it quite a bit. Stanley is starting to copy her, and we'll see if Liam calls me that or something else. Lately she's taken to calling Kris "Gaga Bee", which Kris likes quite a bit. We'll see if it sticks.
Lyla is very advanced in her language. Her vocabulary is very good, and her complex sentence structure in phenomenal. She's probably good at talking because she does it constantly. Even playing alone she talks constantly narrating everything she's doing. Even when she's in the bathroom pooping she talks non-stop.
Yesterday I went over to Mark and Katie's to visit, and it was an unusually warm, pleasant February day. Lyla spent most of the day outside and loved it. When I arrived Lyla informed me I needed to "splash in the mud by the butt hole tree". There was a little mud by a an old tree with a little hole near the base, and we enjoyed leaving our footprints.
