Liam- Nine Months

This last weekend I went to Midland, Michigan to visit Liam. It was the first time I had seen him since his cast was taken off.
Cast? Oh, I forgot that I hadn't blogged for so long. A few weeks ago at a long awaited family get together, on the first night Liam took a tumble from his high chair and broke his femur. Daniel and Courtney ended up taking him to Pittsburgh to get a cast. Liam is a little trooper and started hooching around oblivious to the cast. It didn't hold him back at all. At any rate, his leg is now healed and he's doing great.
When I picked up Liam, I was shocked at how heavy he was. He was dense, like picking up a bar of lead. We often talk about how big Stanley is (with good reason), but Courtney weighed Liam and he weighs the same as Stanley did at nine months.
Liam is a very happy, pleasant baby. He rarely gets upset about anything.
The Jones's have two cats. One, named Popsy, is very social and sometimes acts more like a dog than a cat. The other one, named Spooky (they call her Blackus) has always been very shy and hides alot. The odd thing is that Blackus loves Liam. She comes out to see him when he plays on the floor, and doesn't seem to mind at all when he grabs her fur. Courtney calls her "Mother Blackus".
