Katie is pregnant again! This one will be her last, as the doctors will only permit a mother to have 3 c-sections.
This is how the whole announcement happened....
On March 10, Kris noticed Katie's puffy belly, and asked if Katie was pregnant. Katie was shocked that Mom was asking her and obviously hadn't even thought about it. As for me, I couldn't tell anything different with Katie's appearance, but I knew the look on Kris's face (she was a maternity nurse for several years) and I figured Katie was pregnant.
The next day, Katie secretively snuck out and bought two pregnancy tests.
That night, Kris and I went over for dinner adn Katie gave her an updside down paper plate with "Mom is always right" written on the top, covering the two pregancy tests.
This was pretty cute, the only problem being that she hadn't told Mark yet, who was mildly annoyed that she didn't tell him first. In Katie's defense, when Kris saw the tests, she was standing about two feet away from him, so it wasn't exactly a big secret.
Anyhow, Mark and I are both pretty sure it's a girl. Kris, who has been wrong on the gender of every grandbaby so far, thinks it's a boy.
We are really really, looking forward to another baby in November!
